Leading Organisational Equality and Diversity The aim of this unit is to enable the learner to develop an understanding of the importance of managing equality and diversity within the organisation and to understand how to lead the approach to equality and diversity within an organisation. 10
Sustainable Business Strategy To raise awareness of sustainable development issues and how they impact on the strategic development of the business. 10
Managing Quality and Service Delivery This unit aims to introduce the learner to the delivery of excellent customer service. The learner will also develop knowledge and understanding required for quality measurement and management of service delivery (for public service or healthcare management programmes the unit can be delivered in context). 10
Programme Leadership In order to achieve this unit learners should lead a programme of related projects in an organisation. The work may be undertaken through the learners’ employment or through voluntary work. 10

Admission Requirements Qualifications

For learners who have recently been in education or training the entry profile is likely to include one of the following:

·  a first degree in a healthcare related subject or

·  a level 6 qualification for example an ATHE Diploma in Healthcare Management

·  other equivalent international qualifications

Language

For those whom English is not their first language we recommend the following standards of proficiency in English language skills or an approved equivalent for this qualification:

·  IELTs 5.5

·  Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) B2

·  Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 162 or above

·  Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic 42-49

 

Application Fees Relevant course fees are indicated on the website – typically GBP 895 – 995.  We provide the option to pay by instalments.

Course Delivery Approach

The courses are delivered primarily via instructor-led sessions, with experienced instructors.  They are delivered in a hybrid (face-to-face and online) format, by UK and local teaching staff. Sessions will be fully subject-immersive and will include role-playing and use of CBT tools to augment delivery.

 

Assessment & Certification

Assessment of academic performance will be through candidate-completed assignments and portfolios of work.  The final program outcome is a United Kingdom Ofqual qualification.
