Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management

Environmental issues have been topical over the last decade, with governments, individuals, businesses and wider society emphasizing sustainability, renewability, socio-economic engagement and environmental conservation. The development and capable management of energy and other natural resources has been of some concern to society over recent decades. Attention has been given to the effective use of sustainable and renewable sources of energy such as solar, wind, biomass, hydro and geothermal energy, as opposed to fossil fuels. Students learn prime principles and techniques applicable to sustainable resource management.
