ASDAN Bronze SEND Tutoring (by EMBT Academy)

About this course
The ASDAN Special Education Needs Training (SEND) program supports the achievement of four outcomes that prepare trainees for adulthood. These four outcomes, which are specified in the SEND Code of Practice for England, are –
- Employment
- Independent living
- Friends, relationships and community
- Good health
The ASDAN Bronze International Award Program entails 60 hours of training and covers entry-level aspects of the four SEND outcomes, as well as issues pertaining to –
- Communication and interaction,
- Cognition and learning,
- Social, emotional and mental health, and
- Sensory and physical need
Additionally, ASDAN Bronze helps SEND learners with the process of developing core skills in teamwork, communication, problem solving, research and self-management. The course also helps grow confidence, self-esteem and resilience
Bronze award training is generally suited to younger SEND learners in the age range 14 – 16 years, and can delivered in different duration formats, typically over 2 – 3 semesters. The Tutoring fees indicated are for each semester of instruction.
All EMBT tutoring sessions are instructor-led, with the classes delivered by expert and experienced instructors. Our tutors are typically UK or US -qualified Professors and Lecturers, with several years’ experience of teaching the subject matter. For those candidates preparing for external examinations and tests, we provide multiple practice test drills, sample question papers, mock tests and simulated exams, to ensure readiness for the assessments and enhanced performance.
