· Composing and structuring English text for communications
· Vocabulary and grammar considerations
· Casting text structure for articles and reports
· Effective use of Past Simple, Present Perfect, future and first conditional tenses, expressions and phrasal verbs
· Using appropriate adjectives, prepositions and prefixes
· Use of transitions
· Developing ideas
· Style – active and passive constructions
· Framing dialogues and polylogues
· Informative, descriptive and reasoning aspects of communications
· Developing writing skills
· Framing summaries and content synopses
- Discursive essays – expressing opinions, threading discussions and summaries

Course Delivery Approach
The courses are delivered via instructor-led sessions, with experienced UK-qualified English instructors. Sessions will be fully language-immersive and will include role-playing and use of CBT tools to augment delivery.
Assessment & Certification
Assessment of performance will be through delegate-completed portfolio of work. The final course outcome is a college-issued “English Proficiency” Course Certificate of Completion.
